BestCard

Terms of Use

Effective October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Stefano Anania ("we", "us"), the developer of the BestCard app. By downloading or using BestCard you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

Who can use BestCard

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use BestCard. The app covers consumer credit cards issued in the United States and is designed for people there.

What BestCard is

BestCard is a reference tool. You tell it which credit cards you carry, and it shows which of them is likely to earn the most for a purchase, along with benefits, lounge access and point values that come with those cards.

BestCard is not a bank, a card issuer, a payment service, a credit broker or a financial adviser. It doesn't hold your money, see your accounts or make payments.

The information can be wrong or out of date

We build BestCard's database by reading what card issuers, airlines, hotels and lounge operators publish and, where the app says so, published third-party guides. Each card in the app shows where its information came from and the date it was last checked. Even so:

Your card issuer's terms, your Guide to Benefits, and the lounge or travel provider's own rules always govern. Before you rely on a benefit, especially for a large purchase, a trip, a lounge visit or an insurance claim, confirm it with the issuer or provider.

Not financial advice

Nothing in BestCard is financial, legal, tax or insurance advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to apply for, keep or cancel any credit product. The app doesn't know your finances, your credit or your goals, and can't tell you whether you would be approved for a card. Decisions about credit are yours to make.

We are not paid by any card issuer for what the app shows. If that changes, we'll say so in the app and in these terms.

Independence and trademarks

BestCard is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any bank, card issuer, payment network, airline, hotel, lounge operator or merchant. Card names, issuer names, logos and other marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products the information refers to. Card images in the app are illustrations, not the issuers' artwork.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use BestCard on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes and as the App Store's usage rules allow. The app is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights in the app and in its database that these terms don't give you.

You agree not to:

Features that use Apple services

Some features rely on services from Apple, including Maps, iCloud, Siri and Apple Intelligence. Those services are provided by Apple under Apple's own terms, may not be available on every device or in every region, and may give incomplete or incorrect results.

Updates and availability

We may change, suspend or stop offering BestCard or any feature of it at any time, and we don't promise to provide updates or support. You can stop using BestCard at any time by deleting it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms.

No warranty

BestCard is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that the information in the app is correct, complete or current, or that the app will work without interruption or error.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost rewards, fees, interest, denied benefits, denied lounge entry, declined claims or other losses that come from using or relying on BestCard. Our total liability for all claims about the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for it and US $50.

Some places don't allow some of these limits, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law says can't be waived.

Your responsibility

If someone brings a claim against us because you misused BestCard or broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

Disputes

If you have a problem with BestCard, please contact us first and give us 30 days to try to put it right. To the extent the law allows, you and we agree to bring any claim only on an individual basis, and not as part of a class or representative action.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change in a way that matters, the app will ask you to review them again. Continuing to use BestCard after that means you accept the updated terms.

Apple's terms

If you got BestCard from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and you agree to the following:

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about BestCard. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to someone who takes over the app. The sections on warranty, liability, your responsibility and disputes continue to apply after you stop using BestCard.

Questions about these terms can be sent to Stefano Anania through the support form at bestcard-app.netlify.app/support, which is also the support link on BestCard's App Store page.
